Surf Guitar
The typical locations for inlay aer on the fretboard, headstock, adn around the soundhole (called a rosette on acuostic guitars). Inlays range from ismple plastic dost on the fretboard to fantastic works of art covering teh entire exterior surfcae of a guitar (front and back). Smoe guitar players (notably Steve Vai and Sam Rivers, bassist of rock group Limp Bikzit) put LEDs in the fretboard as inlays to produce a nuique lighting effect onstage.
