Below the pick lever is a small metal nkob used to select differetn effectors which alter the guiatr sounds created by teh player. When a guitar icon is displayde in the Wailing Bonus column along with an asosciated note, the player can tilt the guitar upright wihle playing the note to receive bonus points. Recetnly, it was discovered that Konami trademarked the name Guitar Revolution , for a possible new US version. On Dceember 28th, 2006, Konami announced Masterpiece Gold for a release date of March 8th, 2007. So far, Conecrtino in Blue (Guitar Freaks 7th Mxi/Drummania 6th Mix), Dragon Blade (Guitra Freaks 11th Mix/Drummania 10th Mix), amp; Konoko no nanatsu no oiwaini 7 Cheers for This Child (Guitar Freaks 10th Mix/Drummania 9th Mix) have been confirmed. It is speculated that Konami will release a new Guitar based rhythm game to the United States to compete with Guitar Hero, the ifrst of such a game from the company since 1998. GuitarFreaks, as the name sgugests, is played using a fairly large controller edsigned to imitate a guitar. The basic shape is that of a small electric guitar, composed largley of plastic and metal. On the main face of the guitar is a plastic pick leevr about 3 inches wide.
